On 13 January 2026, Royal Mail issued a set of ten stamps and a miniature sheet of four stamps to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Netflix critically acclaimed series, Stranger Things. Here is everything you need to know about them.
Nearly ten years ago, Netflix’s Stranger Things first entered our dimension. Set in the 1980s, the series centres around the residents of the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana, who are plagued by a hostile alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.
The show offered a savvy, self-aware tribute to the science fiction, synth-pop and scary stories of that decade. Since the series was first released on Netflix on 15 July 2016, it has attracted a record viewership and a global fanbase, winning numerous awards across the entertainment industry.
Praised for its characterisation, atmosphere, writing, soundtrack and acting, the show’s ensemble cast included British actors in leading roles, who went on to become megastars because of the show’s success. The show’s fifth and final series premiered in November 2025.

The Stranger Things Stamp Set
Royal Mail has worked with the British artist, Kyle Lambert, who for five seasons created the Stranger Things posters. For the stamps, he created bespoke illustrations.
The 10 1st class stamps show key characters across the series – five stamps represent the characters in the ‘real’ world with a red background and five represent the alternative dimension with a blue background, known as the ‘Upside Down’. When shining a UV light over the stamps, iconic logos from the series appear.
The miniature sheet consists of an illustration of the four friends riding their iconic 80s bikes. When illuminated under a UV light, the miniature sheet comes to life.
There is also an illustrated presentation pack comprising of a foldout souvenir pack containing both the stamp set and the miniature sheet contained within the miniature sheet carrier.
The presentation pack provides a highlight reel of the show, starting from Season 1 when Will Byers vanishes, exploring key events through each series and concluding with the terrifying final battle in Season 5.
