Manufactured by Volkswagen since 1973, the VW Passat is now in its eighth generation. From B1 to B8 versions, the Passat is still very popular all around the world. DNA Collectibles has reproduced the Volkswagen Passat B5 W8 Sedan, more specifically the Passat facelift B5.5 / Typ 3BG.

Production of this particular version started in late 2000 and, in 2001, a more luxurious and powerful version was launched with a 4-litre W8 engine producing 275 bhp and included 4motion all-wheel drive as standard. This engine was used as a test bed for the future W engine technology and would eventually give birth to the W12 used for the Phaeton, Audi A8 and the Bentley Continental GT, and then the W16 in the Bugatti Veyron.

This is another masterpiece from DNA Collectibles, featuring the company's passionate attention to detail throughout with sublime work clearly visible on the etched light lenses, the front grille and air dam, the wheels and the sumptuous interior. The paintwork is absolutely flawless, as always.
