Proving that vintage toys get absolutely everywhere, Kathy Taylor from Vectis Auctions will be taking some classic collectables along to the set of the BBC's Stargazing Live tonight to appear alongside astronauts Walt Cunningham and Chris Hadfield. The team, which also includes Professor Brian Cox (the thinking woman's crumpet, we're told) and Dara O'Briain, is filming at Jodrell Bank Observatory to bring the latest news and best views of the night sky.

The toys, from all over the world, are an array of Lunar Landing related pieces, they include a Hasbro GI Joe Astronaut, a Palitoy Action Man Space Shuttle, an Airfix (UK) Lunar Module plastic kit (early 1970s kit of the lunar module that landed on the moon in 1969 with very realistic Lunar Landscape artwork and a DSK (Japan) tinplate and plastic Apollo 11 American Eagle Lunar Module, plus others.

It's not known whether Kathy will be called upon to discuss the toys but she will be in the audience taking in the night sky and keeping a watchful eye on the items. The items Kathy is taking will all be up for grabs in the February TV and film sale and include:
