Trains Galore, the much-loved annual sale, takes place on 5th & 6th December 2012 at Special Auction Services in Newbury.

The 2011 Trains Galore auction was a resounding success realising sales in excess of £260,000 representing an increase of 30% on 2010 and the 2012 sale looks to be even more exciting with around 1,500 lots being offered over two days including more than 400 items of Marklin O and OO gauge from the 1930s and a superb collection of German, Swiss and British locomotives.

The collection from the late, well-known collector Robert Avery will draw in the enthusiasts and several fine 3“ gauge models and a wealth of OO guage means there is something to suit all pockets.

Trains Galore started in 1986 and has become an annual highlight for quality vintage toy and model train collectors.  Established by Christie‘s, Hugo Marsh and his team at Special Auction Services have looked after it since 2007.
