The Mike Stockwell collection of amazing Childhood Memorabilia and Toys was started over 40 years ago and became a passion and obsession, as often happens when one starts collecting.
The eclectic collection, which is both varied and vast, is on offer at Bamfords Auctioneers and Valuers in Derby on 4 April. Merely the tip of the iceberg, this sale has over three hundred lots of film posters, space toys, robots, vintage comics, tin wind-up toys, lead soldiers and toy cars. TV and film related items included James Bond and Gerry Anderson, while there are also vintage annuals, old plastic toys, battery operated, coin banks, trains, motion lamps and much more.
The sale is on view on Tuesday 2 April from 9am – 6pm, Wednesday 3 April from 9am – 5pm and on the morning of the sale from 9am.
