Shock as Witty Wings closes its doors Images
Rumours had been flying around (pun completely intended) for some time that Witty Wings were experiencing some problems in the Far East but it still came as a bit of a shock when I read the announcement from Clevelands Diecast that the factory has closed with immediate effect.

The two Eurofighter Typhoons shown here are the last models to leave the factory and there will be no more. We only reviewed these last month and they appear on page 19 of the current issue (October) of Diecast Collector.

No future releases of Witty/Sky Guardians 1/72 aircraft or Witty and Apollo 400 civil aircraft will be made. All back orders for these items have been cancelled.

Please note this closure does not affect either Aviation 72 or Sky Guardians Europe tooling as these are not part of the same factory set up. We look forward to plenty more from these companies soon!
