As we hurtle towards December, it can only mean one thing - no, not the 'C word' - but the release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. After the huge success of the first film, we can't wait to see what treats director Peter Jackson has in store, as we head back to Middle Earth. Of course, some other treats come in the form of the various toys being released alongside the new movie and Vivid Toy Group has been in touch to let us know that two new 3.75" action figures are joining Bilbo Baggins and the crew (which you can see in our previous video review).

First up is Radagast the Brown, as played by Sylvester McCoy in the films. As you would expect from someone called Radagast the Brown, he comes complete with a long-flowing brown cape and rather unusual hat... we're not sure if the toy features accurately replicated animal droppings, like his on-screen portrayal.

Up next is the wicked Azog, a powerful orc chief, played by Manu Bennett in the new films... although you probably wouldn't recognise him. Athough Azog has a relatively small part in the books, he's set to return in the sequel, along with his son Bolg... well, there's nothing like keeping dwarf-killing in the family, is there? Both new figures retail for around £7.99 and feature up to 12 points of articulation, along with detailed replication.
