Keith Hartwell from Mullock's Auctioneers has been in touch to give us a sneak peek at some of the fantastic lots coming up in his next toy sale on 5th March. For fans of classic TV and film memorabilia there are some wonderful items in the sale, including some superb James Bond collectables.

Below you can see some of the top choices from the auction, along with descriptions from the Mullock's catalogue.



Chad Valley Circus Parade, great rare example of this toy featuring nine wooden animals including elephant, camel, giraffe, lion, kangaroo, bear, leopard, monkey, tiger and circus trainer, all on wooden wheels that connect together in illustrated box (small piece missing from edge of box).
 


Crescent (UK) plastic Space Squadron Sonic Beam Gun, very rare plastic item is black, with yellow lens, red sights, battery operated. Great unboxed example together with Space Phones Walkie Talkie Set in original box.


 
Crescent - Cowboy Display Set, comprising 15 figures, all in great un-played condition within a original illustrated box (small piece missing from side edge of box).


 
Marx Toys Thunderbirds Bagatelle, 1966 Louis Marx & Co highly illustrated bagatelle including five glass marbles in working order complete with original box.
 


Topper "Secret Sam" Attache Case, comprising camera, gun plus various accessories. Condition is generally good with inner polystyrene tray. Catches and handle intact complete with colour illustrated original card wrap round cover and original postage outer box.


 
Scarce Dan Dare Play Outfit, all-in-one play suit in grey and blue with zip to front having Dan Dare illustrated badge to breast and still retaining original ticket label saying Dan Dare Outfit Size 19 ½ inside leg.
 


Merit Space Play Suit, SP4 Space Pilot having helmet, jacket and trousers together with Cheryl Cavalry Play Suit both in original boxes.


 
Vintage Buck Rogers 1935 Lightning Bolt Hands Pocket Watch, rare Buck Rogers pocketwatch manufactured by Ingraham Co, 1935, featuring full color image of Buck and Wilma on the face. The 50mm case is steel encased and chrome plated, with the reverse side engraved with the giant one-eyed Comet Man in stride wearing full battle regalia. The dial illustrated by Dick Caulkins shows a profile of Buck with raised disintegrator pistol in his right hand. His left arm, around Wilma's waist, protects her from deadly monsters. The minute and hour hands are die cut metal lightning bolts with copper finish, and sweep second hand which is also copper finished. Made in U.S.A. is printed just above it.
 


Merit (J&L Randall Limited UK) Dan Dare Planet Gun, plastic gun with three revolving missiles. Excellent for display in a colour illustrated box with card insert.
 


Merit Dan Dare Space Projector Gun, finished in silver, comes complete with extra film strips. Overall condition is mint in excellent picture box (apart from slight scuffs to corners).
 


Scarce Lone Star James Bond 007 Sniper's Rifle, diecast metal sniper rifle, one-hundred shot cap repeater with two 'snap-fit' sections, boxed - illustrated box with later generic person.
 


Danjaq & Gildrose 1960s James Bond 007 Set, consists of rifle, pistol and silencer with holster, binoculars, camera, two hand grenades, Special Agent Badge and ID card. All housed in its original cardboard case, complete with handle, two travel labels to front. The pistol and rifle were made by Lone Star.
 


Airfix No.823 James Bond 1/24 scale Aston Martin DB5 Construction Kit, 1965 issue is generally excellent to near mint (some items loose from sprue and not checked for quantity), comes with correct folded instruction sheet and other relevant paper work - lift off lid picture box is good plus, still a nice bright example.
 


Tomiyama Firebird Racer Japanese Tinplate Racing Car, scarce large scale tinplate example, battery operated, pale metallic blue with racing No.3, red plastic hubs, black rubber tyres, includes tinplate driver figure, "Indianapolis 500" to side comes in a illustrated box lid having some damage.
