Matchbox Superfast Collection Goes Under the Hammer on June 12th and 13th

One of the most comprehensive collections of Matchbox Superfast models is going under the hammer next week at Vectis in Thornaby on June 12th and 13th. The auction was due to go ahead on May 22nd but was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Rob Freeman Matchbox Superfast Collection features 712 lots and took Rob more than 30 years to put together. He explained why he thinks it's time to sell. "Having achieved my ambition of owning the majority of England-base Matchbox Superfast models I now feel that the time is right for me to part with them, and so I hope that other people enjoy the models in this auction that have given me so much pleasure over the years."
