East Bristol Auctions has announced an additional auction to their calendar.

East Bristol Auctions has announced an additional auction to their calendar, just as the year is coming to an end. Its popular Specialist Lego Auction returns on 30 November – with their biggest and best yet. ‘It’s incredible,’ says auctioneer Andrew Stowe ‘we’ve consigned sets from the biggest collection of Lego I’ve ever seen. Our vendor - who owns a separate flat just to store their collection - has consigned some 250 items to the auction. And that was just the tip of the iceberg!’

Amongst the highlights from the private collection are the sought-after Lego Star Wars ‘Death Star’ set, a Disney Castle set and several vintage 1980s sets. ‘The collection filled our van five times over’ adds Andrew ‘and we now have the mammoth task of cataloguing it all! It’s a tough job… but someone has to do it!’

The auction also includes a number of Lego items from other vendors including several shop display Lego sets. Never intended for sale, the displays feature fully made sets, often with lights and sounds – and are sure to be a big hit with die-hard collectors.
