International Toy Fair 2015: Norvev

One of the best things about the International Toy Fair is that you're never quite sure what you're going to see next. Of course, we're used to the almost endless supply of great sports cars, vintage motors and commercial vehicles... but we didn't expect to see a diecast model featuring a large tube of hair oil on the back! Well, that's exactly what we spotted on the Norev stand, which always seems to have something unexpected. Last year it was castle-shaped vans, this year it was a tube of hair cream!

This French diecast manufacturer is certainly proud of its heritage and many of the models on offer at the show were from French car makers, like Citroen and Renault. For example a trio of new cars on display were based on the Renault Megane RS and RS Trophy. The RS Trophies are due out any time now, while the RS was a prototype.

In the video below we've tried to concentrate on the new products - so anything marked 'new' with a label is due out any time now, while 'prototype' indicates something that's still in development.
