Hatton's Release Latest Delivery of Creative Master Buses

Well known diecast and railway retailer Hatton's has unveiled its latest delivery of buses from Creative Master. There's a huge range in stock and many are available below the recommended retail price - so it's a great opportunity to catch a bargain bus.

Creative Master Northcord Ltd. is well known for making accurately detailed and faithful reproductions of original buses. The company takes its inspiration from across the world - from Lothian buses in Scotland to the Adelaide Metro in Australia.

Hatton's currently stocks more than 100 Creative Master OO gauge items and below we've picked out a few that are available at bargain prices. You can see the full list available here.

First up is a brand new livery for the Alexander Dennis ALX400-bodied Trident. This is UK1044 carrying an eye catching ‘60s’ themed livery, featuring Stagecoach 18310 (KX05 TWG). Psychedelic images of the sixties re-appeared on the roads of West Sussex from October 2008, as Stagecoach South launched an enhanced route 60 between Bognor Regis, Chichester & Midhurst, with improved frequency and the introduction of low floor, easy access buses.

Up next is the Alexander Dennis Enviro400-bodied Volvo B7TL model, UK0022, which carries ‘Bluestar’ livery. It represents fleet number 858 (SN56 AWX) in service on route 3 heading to Hedge End & Botley. Bluestar’s unique Alexander Dennis Enviro400-bodied Volvo B7TL is the only vehicle of its kind in passenger service in the UK combining the Volvo B7TL chassis with the newly developed Enviro 400 body. The former Solent Blue Line-branded company launched the bus, as its fleet number 758, in conjunction with the Wessex Heartbeat charity and world record mountain climber & Southampton resident Rhys Jones, who scaled the vehicle, complete with a champagne toasting on the vehicle’s roof, in Southampton city centre.

Finally, we've selected the first two door version of the casting with Transport for London specifications, UK5025, carrying all-red London General colour, representing fleet number MEC34 (BD09 ZVZ). Go-Ahead London General MEC34 entered into service on 25 July 2009, the day these 12m rigid Mercedes-Benz Citaros replaced 18m articulated  Citaros on London route 507 (CMN model ukbus 5103), one of the two former Red Arrow routes. This is one of 49 Mercedes-Benz Citaro 12m rigids ordered for the two routes – the Red Arrow name has been dropped after 43 years.
