There's a change of venue for the annual celebration of model trams. ...
This year the Festival of Model Tramways has a new venue. Due to building work, its usual home at Kew Bridge Steam Museum is not available. As a result the 2013 event will be held at the Arnhem Gallery, Fairfield Halls, Park Lane, Croydon, CR1 1DG. Another important change is that this year the Festival will only be held for one day, rather than the usual two.

However, despite these changes, organisers are planning a bumper show with working model tramways, static displays and stands for dealers or societies. There will also be numerous modelling demonstrations and competitions for visitors.

The 2013 Festival of Model Railways takes place on Saturday, 20th July between 10am and 5pm. Admission is £8 and children are free, but must be accompanied by a paying adult. For more details check the website or call 0208 948 0721.
