The first event for Chris Dyer Fairs at Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales was a great success. Held in the town’s leisure centre (located in the Merthyr Leisure Village with loads of other attractions nearby) the show was well supported by both the traders and the general public, with every available table being taken.
Indeed, for the next fair on Saturday 2 November, it is very likely that additional space within the Centre will be booked in order to accommodate the growing number of traders who wish to attend.
Organizer Chris Dyer said, “This is a fabulous venue with almost unlimited free car parking and one which the stall-holders instantly took to; I have never known one of my events re-book so rapidly and it’s obvious that we are going to have to add another 30 to 40 tables in the future. It was a pleasure to operate this show and the help we received from the centre’s staff was a lesson to many other venues. There was such a good atmosphere throughout the show and more than one person remarked that it was more like old times”.
