EFE and the Christmas Cracker Transport Fair

The Museum of Manchester is holding its annual Christmas Cracker Transport Collectors Fair on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December from 10am to 5pm. A wide range of transport and local interest collectables will be on sale plus you will have the chance to meet Frank Joyce and the EFE team to see what's in store for bus collectors in 2013. There is a free heritage bus service running to and from Manchester Victoria Station to the Museum and there's plenty of hot snacks and refreshments throughout the fair to keep visitors warm on a chilly winter's day!

Brand new models from EFE

Exclusively to the web this month we bring you information on the new 1/76 scale Bristol RELH D/P Bus from EFE. While complying with the NBC's livery Bristol Omnibus came up with this attractive combination of colours and applied it to coaches in the Bath and Bristol fleets. Registered GHY 131K, numbered BH 2069, it is working Express Route 603. Model ref: 29412, RRP £30.50

The livery might be fairly plain but the quality of its application is first rate. EFE’s United replica, the 405 Blyth service, has a fetching green and cream interior and authentic Vaux advertising on the front upper deck. The model also exhibits some very fine printing.

Derby City Transport operated this beautiful bus, which is re-created brilliantly by EFE. It represents the 159 Overdale Road service and offers fine printing, good door detail and pleasing contrast from the green interior.
