Corgi Skyfall Aston Martin DB5 - Video

This year is a huge year for James Bond, thanks to the 50th anniversary and the release of the latest film Skyfall. As such, it seems only fitting that Corgi should revisit one of its classic film-related diecast cars: the iconic Aston Martin DB5. Although this new version may not have the ejector seat and 'secret instructions' from the 1965 edition (Corgi No. 261), it's still a great tribute to the classic vehicle.

The new model (ref: CC04310) is available now and comes in 1/36 scale. It's actually a very fine replica, with a smashing silver paint job and even comes with a small James Bond figure inside - although we must say, it doesn't look much like Daniel Craig. Then again, Daniel Craig doesn't exactly look like the classic representation of 007!
