MD Richard Walker spoke about the new relationship they are enjoying with Bachmann, UK distributors for over a year now, and Britains Brand Manager, Malcolm Watson, and new sculptor, Graham Scollick, both gave brief presentations about their respective involvement with the new ranges. Graham, a former drum major, has kindly agreed to give Collectors Gazette an exclusive interview so look out soon for his fascinating story and how he came on board as W. Britain's newest scupltor.

The event also gave collectors the opportunity to bid at a closed auction for a number of rare pre-production models. Congratulations to the winners! And not forgetting, of course, the exclusive model presented to each collector who attends. This year club members were given the 27th (Inniskilling) Regiment of Foot, 1815 (No. 44055), a beautifully produced and detailed figure indeed. Back issues of Collectors Gazette, the Armourer and Classic Arms and Militaria were being handed out free and staff from publishers Warners Group Publications were on hand to answer collectors' queries.

So, if this kind of social event takes your fancy and you want to be the first to see the new 2014 ranges, then join the Britains Collectors Club now and enjoy a year of benefits plus receive an invite to this great, annual ‘get together’.
