Forget organising one of the most succesful Olympics ever or upstaging David Cameron at the Conservative Party Conference, Boris Johnson's latest achievement outshines them all! That's because Corgi is releasing a range of limited edition New Bus for London models. Also known as 'Boris Buses', the iconic hybrid diesel-electric vehicles have become a well known sight running on route number 38 between Victoria Station and Hackney.
In July 2012, CBS Outdoor UK announced the launch of the first ever-advertising campaign on the NBfL and is scheduled to run until February 2013.The original eight buses feature adverts, five of which Corgi have produced. Mamma Mia, Wicked, We Will Rock You livered model buses are limited editions available via retailers and online from Corgi's website.
A Les Misérables model will be released exclusively through Corgi’s direct catalogue and website while a Singin’ in the Rain model will be released exclusively for Corgi Collector Club members only. All five models will be released in December 2012 to March 2013 and retail at £34.99 each.
