Forget the sunshine, spend your day off at a toy fair! ...
There's a bit of a change for Barry Potter's regular toy fair at the Birmingham NEC because instead of taking place on a Sunday, this weekend it's actually happening on bank holiday monday. That's right, while most people are worrying whether there'll be enough sunshine to go to the beach, you can sit back and relax, thinking about staying indoors and picking up some great vintage collectables.

The NEC is actually Britain's biggest toy fair, with a huge range of toys, trains and models up for grab. There are 100s of stalls selling everything from Star Wars collectables to handcrafted teddy bears to the latest LEGO sets - ensuring there's something to catch the eye of all collectors. Other features include on-site ATMs (for when you HAVE to withdraw cash for that rare model), free toy valuations from specialist auctioneers, cafes and free parking for visitors.

It all takes place at Hall 18, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, B40 1NT. The NEC is easily located, being just off the M42 motorway at junction 6. Adults £6, Senior Citizens £5.50, Children £2 (under 5's are free). The fair is open from 10.30am - 3.30pm.
