As the BBC ramps up its on-screen advertising for the hugely antipated 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who, teasing the date 23rd November along with the Twitter hashtag #savetheday, we're delighted to report that the November issue of Collectors Gazette, on sale 18th October, is dedicated to Doctor Who and some of the best collectables inspired by the popular series.

One of the articles comes courtesy of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society (DWAS), the longest running Doctor Who fan club in the world, with members across the globe. The DWAS has an area of its website dedicated to Doctor Who merchandise, known as the 'Celestial Toybox'. The Toybox has a huge variety of pieces to explore, including the more typical action figures produced over the last few years, to more unusual items, like Weetabix packaging!

Long-time member of the DWAS Antony Wainer has dug into this incredible archive and selected some of his favourite items, along with adding potential values, for the November issue of Collectors Gazette - make sure you order your copy now to read all about Antony's top items.

But that's not all in the November issue because TV and film memorabilia expert Jim Stevenson has delved into his own collection (which spans back to the 1960s) to pick some of the best and most valuable Doctor Who toys ever made. There are rare tinplate Daleks, shooting games and more, with plenty of pictures of these incredible items.
