There are plenty of new models in the Aviation Archive range featured in the latest Corgi catalogue, including new tooling for the Avro Vulcan B2 XH58 'Vulcan to the Sky' Return to Flight October 2007 that will be avaiable from January 2014 and a fine Messerschmitt Bf109G-2 Yellow 1, Oberleutnant Hermann Graf, Staffelkapitan 9/JG 52m Pitomnik, September 1942, which is out in September.
However, our favourites are two fantastic models to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Dambusters. First up there's a modern aircraft in the form of the Panavia Tornado GR4 617 Sqn RAF, Dambusters 70th Anniversary, which has been reptainted for the milestone and is released in August. Or, if you prefer your planes to be vintage, there's the Avro Lancaster BIII (Special) ED925 'Mother' 617 Dambuster Sqn 'Operation Chastise' RAF Scampton, May 1943, Flt Lt John Vere Hopgood DFC, out in August.
