A flying start for 2017

UK Toy and Model Auctions are off to a flying start for 2017, with their 6 March auction being fully subscribed some 3 months earlier than anticipated. Among the highlights is one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of Matchbox Super Kings to come up for auction. In excess of 250 models including rare German, French and Swiss variations will be included. There is also a very good selection of Dinky, Corgi and diecast from other manufacturers.

Model railway enthusiasts and collectors are also well catered for with an excellent selection of locomotives, rolling stock and accessories from Peco and Graham Farish N gauge, Bachmann, Hornby 00 and Wrenn, Aster Stirling Single and French Pacific in gauge 1, through to SM32 narrow gauge from Roundhouse and Steamcraft.

Following the retirement of David Whitehead after 20 years with the company, UK Toy and Model Auctions Ltd will be welcoming Peter Critchley to its auction in March where he will take over the role of auctioneer. You might have seen Peter on BBC antiques programmes such as Celebrity Road Trip and Flog It.
