New models arrive from Search Impex

Customised promotional model vehicle specialist, Search Impex, is pleased to announce the release of two brand new, highly-detailed and fully-liveried 1/50 scale truck models, produced exclusively for the company by WSI Collectibles:

1) Volvo FH-500 Globetrotter (8x2) rigid flatbed truck with Fassi crane, customised in the livery of well known Aberdeen based operator Dyce Carriers Ltd.

Dyce Carriers specialises in serving the transport needs of oil and gas service providers as well as local engineering companies and loads can vary from small, urgent consignments, through to groupage, full loads and even helicopters.  Operating throughout the UK and with some work in mainland Europe, Dyce Carriers’ trucks will already be a familiar sight to many truck collectors and enthusiasts.

Available in a certificated limited edition run of 205 models, each is priced at £184 (including UK delivery & VAT).

2) Scania R650 Highline (6x2, single wheel tag axle) solo tractor unit, customised in the well-known livery of specialist Scottish operator JST Services (Scotland) Ltd.

This is the second model to be commissioned by JST Services and follows on from the sell-out release of the first model – a Scania R730 Streamline Topline (8x4) solo tractor unit which was commissioned specially to mark the Company’s 25th anniversary in 2018.

Based in Ayr, south west Scotland, JST Services was established in 1993 by John & Linda Scott. With the efforts of a dedicated team, the business has grown to become one of the largest timber handling businesses in Europe, whilst at the same time diversifying into shipping and port handling solutions.
