For the first time in its range, DNA Collectibles has launched a multi-colour option model.
The 1/18 scale resincast replica Saab 9-5 Sportcombi Aero 2005 is available to pre-order in three different colour options - Laser Red, Steel Grey Metallic, or Cosmic Blue.
Why did DNA decide to launch this model in three different colours? DNA regularly runs polls on its socila media pages to gauge interest levels on future products, and one of these options is frequently the choice of colour. On this occasion, the poll was so close that it prompted the company to go for all three at the same time, as even the production team couldn't decide!
DNA Collectibles has already reproduced a 1/18 scale model of the Saab 9-5 Sportcombi 2011 last year. It was such a pleasure for the team to work on and, judging by the sales response, for the collectors too, that it was a simple decision to go for an earlier generation model as a follow up - this one includes the Aero pack option, with its tailgate spoiler, specific bumpers and spoked wheel rims. The 2005 edition is also accessorised with the sun roof and roof bar options.
To bring as much realism as possible, DNA has taken great care to faithfully apply realistic badges all around the car - the Saab logo on the front and back, the “Aero” logo, the “95” logo and the “Saab” on the front grille line. DNA's signature move on its 1/18 scale model cars, is to perfectly reproduce the perforated front grille, the headlights and fog lamps, where you can actually see the bulbs.
Inside, the black & grey bi-colour leather really gives a high end finish to this exquisite interior, and the central console and the dashboard feature the most tiny details, right down to the photo-etched integrated speakers.
