Who Created Winnie the Pooh and His Friends?

The stories of Winnie the Pooh and his friends were written by English author A.A. Milne and were based on the toys of his son, Christopher Robin Milne. The first tales were published in 1924 and soon became hugely popular. Today, the rights to the stories are owned by the Walt Disney Company.
