This release provides racing fans, movie lovers and race car enthusiasts a way to take the F1 The Movie home with them. From the success of their partnership deal what other F1 models have Hot Wheels made for the race car lovers? And what are our top three models?

Ahead of the release of F1 The Movie, Hot Wheels has announced a limited edition diecast model. The film's character Sonny Hayes, starring Brad Pitt, drives this model, which takes inspiration from the fictional Apex Grand Prix (APXGP) team.

This release provides racing fans, movie lovers and race car enthusiasts a way to take the F1 The Movie home with them. From the success of their partnership deal what other F1 models have Hot Wheels made for the race car lovers? And what are our top three models?

The Diecast model

The moulded driver's helmet features an authentic gold and black livery with Hayes' number seven. Customers will also receive three sets of Pirelli tyres and a tyre storage racks.

The car will come in a collector's 'Kar Keepers' clamshell case to deliver the ultimate collector experience.

This Formula 1 diecast will be available for purchase on Mattel Creations website, beginning June 24 2025, available for £30. This will be prior to the release of the film in cinemas on 27 June 2025, from Warner Bros Pictures.

F1 The Movie

Directed by Joseph Kosinski. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment and seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes in this highly anticipated film, portraying a driver dubbed "the greatest that never was." He was Formula 1's top young star in the 1990s until a crash almost ended his career. Thirty years later, a team asks him to race in Formula 1 again, giving him one last chance to help them and prove he's the best.

Top 3 F1 Hot Wheels Models

Williams Racing Hot Wheels

Designers detailed this 1/64 scale model with authentic 2024 blue livery and the driver number 43. The interior colour is all black and comes with a custom display stand with the F1 team name displayed.

The manufacturer uses a full-metal chassis for the base of the car and constructs the body with ZAMAC. ZAMAC is a combined metal of Zinc, Aluminium and Copper. The wheels are Bespoke Real Riders with F1 Pirelli tyres.

McLaren Hot Wheels

The Hot Wheels designers detailed this 1/64 scale model with authentic papaya livery and the driver number 4.

Same as the Williams Racing model, the manufacturer uses a full-metal chassis with a ZAMAC body type.

It comes with a custom display stand with the F1 team name displayed on it with an authentic 2024 race livery.

Red Bull Racing Hot Wheels 

The designers detailed this model with an authentic navy blue, red and yellow livery and the driver number 1. It comes in the same scale as the previously mentioned models.

It appears with the same base and body type with the F1 Pirelli tyres.
