Promod to release four more Somerville Model kits
Due for release next month, Promod is to introduce four more Somerville Model kits in 1/43 scale. The four brand new models are: the Standard Flying 12 pre-war 1937, the Standard Flying 12 post-war 1946, the Ford 7Y 1938-39 and the Ford 54A Pickup (Ute) 1949. Due for release next month, Promod is to introduce four more Somerville Model kits in 1/43 scale. This brings the total number of kits in the range to 16.
The four brand new models are: the Standard Flying 12 pre-war 1937, the Standard Flying 12 post-war 1946, the Ford 7Y 1938-39 and the Ford 54A Pickup (Ute) 1949. The expected retail price of the models is £30 each.
Also available from Promod are some new 1/50 scale trucks. The Bedford TK milk truck (pictured below) and the Bedford TK NCB truck are built models which will be released at the end of the month as limited editions of 150 of each.
The Bedford RL AFS will be a built model only, due out in November. The Bedford S Type Dropside will be produced with various bodies and out in 2012 in both built and kit form.
The Bedford RL with Atlas type crane will be out in November/December as a built model, although it is currently available as a kit.
