The Crewe Heritage Centre will be holding a special locomotive weekend on 31st July to 1st August 2010. ...
Have a steamy day out at the Crewe Heritage Centre from 31st July to 1st August 2010 where a host of historic locomotives will be on display including: 6100 Royal Scot, 60009 Union of South Africa, 80136, 87035 Robert Burns and the Advanced Passenger Train.
6233 Duchess of Sutherland and 6201 Princess Elizabeth will be featured in steam. Princess Elizabeth leaves on a tour Saturday am but will return Saturday evening for the weekend.
During the weekend all of the centre's other attractions will be open too, including the Exeter West Signal Box, the Exhibition Hall and the stamp display. Homemade refreshments will be available on both days and there will be sale stands too.
Entrance fee: £5 adult, £10 family, £3 OAP and £2 child.
