Bachmann commission limited edition wagon to celebrate Duffield to Wirksworth railway line

To mark the re-opening of the Duffield to Wirksworth railway line in Derbyshire on 6th April, a limited edition OO gauge wagon has been commissioned from Bachmann. The Wirksworth Quarries Ltd wagon (37-025W) has been jointly commissioned by the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Association (EVRA) and Mickleover Model Railway Group (MMRG).

EVRA’s allocation of models will be sold at its shop at Wirksworth, while the MMRG’s models will be for sale at the Derby Model Railway Exhibition, Moorsway Sports Centre, Derby, 14th-15th May (both subject to availability), priced £8.95.

The Bachmann Collectors’ Club (BCC) will be holding its Trackside 2011 event at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway on Saturday 21st May.
