The RAF’s principle long-range transport aircraft comes in the shape of the mighty C-17, and it’s well-represented by this model. In accurate grey paint and with fine maintenance markings, this is a great facsimile. The metal finish on the engines is good, there are formation strip lights on the fuselage and tail and even a working loading ramp at the rear. On the tail, sits the leaping black panther of the RAF’s 99 Squadron, based at Brize Norton, Oxfordshire.
