Hornby Hobbies has announced an exciting deal with Warner Bros. The agreement will see Corgi release a range of diecasts featuring Warner Bros franchises such as Harry Potter and DC Super Heroes characters, which could include Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern, to name just a few. With the upcoming releases of the retooled Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Yellow Submarine already announced, marking a renewed trend towards TV and film releases, could we see a retooling of the original Batmobile too?
The news sent Hornby’s shares soaring as Lyndon Davies continues to make big strides to turnaround the company’s fortunes. “Having access to these perennially popular franchises will provide Hornby with the opportunity to apply our ability in developing and delivering a desirable range of products that will appeal to fans of the many Warner Bros characters and DC Super Heroes”, said the CEO.
