Maidenhead Static Model Club shows off Dinky Toys style Austin A40 Van
Special “Thank you, NHS” model released by MSMC Images

Despite all the problems with the pandemic the Maidenhead Static Model Club (MSMC) has followed its tradition of providing a model for its members. This time, the model chosen is a Dinky Toys style Austin A40 Van, advertising the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This represents an acknowledgement of all the work the Trust has done in connection with the Covid-19 virus and, of course, all the other NHS Trusts.

The model is in white and has the appropriate Trust name and the rainbow symbol on the van doors that are so familiar to everyone. The number plate is NHS 1948, the birth of the NHS, and the rear doors carry the MSMC logo and the years 2020-2021. The van is supplied with a sticker sheet that includes three alternative pairs of number plates for application to the vehicle, if required.

The box has a special Dinky Toys style wrap describing the contents and includes the MSMC logo, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Charitable Trust and the Rainbow “Thank You” logos. A limited number are to be produced for non-members to purchase at £30.00 plus P&P [within the UK].

The Club hopes that all collectors who received a model will understand the thought and care that has been expended in the design and manufacture of it. Please note, that any surplus over expenditure of distributed models will be donated to the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Charitable Trust.
