Tiger Hobbies Limited has announced that Hobby Master will be producing a new 1/72 scale Sea Harrier FA.2 in the colours of the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy.

The FA.2 is the latest version of the Harrier released by diecast aircraft manufacturers – Corgi has produced the Collector Harrier 1 RAF GR1, GR3 and US AV8A and the Sea Harrier FRS.1.

Hobby Master has taken the Harrier story to the next level by releasing Harrier II USMC AV8B, AV8B plus RAF GR5, GR7 and GR9 and, finally, the Sea Harrier FA.2. The main difference from the FRS.1 to the FA.2 is a longer fuselage and a different front.

The Sea Harrier FA.2 is an important release for Hobby Master and Tiger Hobbies in the UK as they believe that the full-size aircraft holds a special place in the heart of aviation enthusiasts and aircraft model collectors as it was the last all-British designed fighter aircraft.

The model will retail at £49.99. Delivery into the UK is expected to be in October.
