Following the unveiling of the new Volvo FH and the new DAF XF, Tekno is pleased to announce it has been busy working away at producing the new models in time for the launch of these new trucks with the models being previewed at the IAA Truck Show in Hannover, Germany.

Dubbed the best XF so far, this new model has undergone many internal and external changes compared with its predecessor.  It is provided with additional accessories such as the rubber mud flaps and handles for the cab doors. For the launch, a 4x2 tractor unit with a box trailer has been produced, but also several other variants such as the chassis trucks and multi-axle tractor units will follow soon.

For the new Volvo FH, Tekno was chosen as the first model truck manufacturer to unveil the new Volvo FH series in 1/50 scale. A highly detailed model has been developed which includes handles in the cab, a steering wheel available in two colours, rubber mud flaps and an antenna for the German Maut Toll Box.

The first models have been made in two versions, the FH and FH16, both as Globetrotter XL cabins with a 4x2 tractor unit axle configuration. Just like their real cousins, you can see the differences between the FH and FH16 have been implemented from the truck into the model. Two different grilles have been made, different versions of the headlights and the interior is painted in different colours.

The first examples of the new Volvo FH are now available for purchase through the Volvo Merchandise website or at your local Volvo dealer.
