Royal Mail’s four model vehicles have been developed with the benefit of input from the experts at the Post Office Vehicles Club. The vans have been produced using Corgi castings, each decorated to the highest possible standards. As the article in June’s Diecast Collector magazine detailed, the following models have been produced:
• NV009: 1967 Ford Anglia 50cu.ft.
• NV010: 1970 Morris Minor 50cu.ft.
• NV011: 1963 Austin A35 50cu.ft.
• NV012: 1951 Morris Commercial J-Type 100cu.ft.
Each 1:43 die cast model is supplied boxed, with a lid depicting accurate and striking illustrations of the side, front and rear of the model van. The box base features simple but stylish technical drawings mirroring the illustrations on the lid. Each model also comes with a numbered limited edition collectors card and an information booklet providing a detailed background of the van’s origins, technical specifications and additional photographs.
As shown in the images, when you position the models on their accompanying leaflet all the vehicle facts and technical details are itemised providing you with further opportunity to take in the features of each of the vans.
