Oxford Diecast has confirmed its release programme into 2023. In the News & Events section of the October issue of Diecast Collector (buy your copy here), we carried details of the new tooling that had been announced, but now we can bring you details of yet more new models heading our way soon.
Starting with Oxford's larger scale vehicles, a fine group of 1/43 scale Land Rovers are promised, both military and civilian versions. The new Discovery 1 tooling is a particularly exciting prospect. This is modelled in 1/76 too, along with another long list of great models.
Finally, there is a whole raft of new releases in Oxford's 1/87 scale "American" range. There are so many that we simply didn't have room for them here, so we will cover them in the next issue.
This is the biggest selection of new releases we have seen from Oxford for some time, as it now seems that the trials and tribulations of the logistical nightmares that affected the industry during the pandemic are finally beginning to recede in the rear view mirror. It's not over yet, but it feels like we are definitely getting there.
