New release announcements from Oxford Diecast Images
Oxford Diecast has just released news of upcoming models for the latter half of the year and the early part of next.
As always, there is plenty of new tooling to be found across all the various ranges as well as some interesting variants of existing models.
Just a few highlights that really caught my eye include the 1/76 scale Messerschmitt Bubble Car in Rouge Sarde (new tooling) and a second version at 1/18 in vibrant Mimosa Yellow. Regular readers of Diecast Collector will recall how excited I got about the Commer Commando Crew Bus and the much-anticipated BOAC version is due in the next few months to follow the RAF version we featured in issue 200.
New tooling in the 1/76 scale Oxford Commercials range sees a van variant of the Austin Seven as well as the Massey Ferguson 135 tractor and in the Oxford Gift range, there will be a set of D-Type, E-Type and F-Type Jaguars. The Oxford Haulage range will see the introduction of the Scania Highline CombiTrailer that we saw in its early form at Nuremberg in January. The first offering will be in Eddie Stobart colours towards the end of the year.
In the detailed 1/72 scale History of Flight series we will see new tooling in the shape of the De Havilland DH88 Comet racer, a second version of the Avro Anson MkI and another Tiger Moth (always a favourite!) in the colours of Classic Wings.
This really is the tip of the iceberg (see the full list below) but rest assured we will keep you up to speed on all the new models from Oxford Diecast as they hit the shelves.
