Keith Hartwell, toy expert at Mullock's Auctioneers, describes some of the highlights in the June sale. ...
Ahead of the June Toys & Militaria sale at Mullock's, toy expert Keith Hartwell gave us an exclusive preview of some of the star lots, including a scarce Batmobile, classic Buck Rogers gun and more! The auction itself included a huge range of collectables, from unboxed Dinky cars to Tri-ang trucks and plenty of fantastic TV and film items.

Keith truly is an expert on toys and handles the running of the auction himself - photographing lots, tracking down rare collections, valuing pieces and even putting the catalogue together. Keith's next Toys & Militaria auction will be held on 6th November, if you're interested in placing one of your collectables in the sale, then head to the website to find out how to get in touch.

Since filming with Keith the auction has been completed and all the items mentioned have been sold. Items featured in the video include a rare Japanese battery-powered Combat GI (realised £100), a Star Trek Phaser Rocket Gun (realised £70), tinplate Mystery Action Batmobile (realised £260), Captain Scarlet Cap and Gun (realised £85) and a 1950s Buck Rogers Sonic Ray Gun (realised £100).
