London 2012 Paralympic and Olympic Collectable Prices Slashed at Hornby Images

London 2012 Paralympic and Olympic collectable prices have been slashed by up to 85% on the Hornby website, meaning that as the Games come to an end, this could be the opportunity to snap up a real bargain. Perhaps buy a few, stick them in the loft and then wait to see how much they're worth in a few years!

One of the products that has been reduced by the biggest margin is the London 2012 Diecast Figurine 12 Piece Collection, featuring the alien mascots Wenlock and Mandevile in a range of poses, e.g. dressed as a Beefeater and waving the Union Jack.

Measuring 50mm high and encased in a clear protective dome, the figures originally retailed for £119.88 and have now dropped to £39.88 - that's a massive saving of £80.00.

You can also buy the individual poses in packs for 12 for £23.88, which is £96.00 less than the recommended retail price. We're almost giddy with these price cuts.

If you prefer your diecast more car-like, then all the Destination London 2012 taxis have been reduced to half price - from £4.99 to £2.49. There's also the opportunity to buy these in bulk packs of 36 for £53.64, a saving of £126.00 from the launch cost.

Likewise, the Great British Classics range - featuring a Mini, double decker bus and Conchord, among others - has also been halved to £4.99 each or £17.94 for six.

Finally, if you fancy picking up some locomotives, the London 2012 Train has also been reduced from £99.99 to £79.99 and the London 2012 Train Pack - Limited Edition of 2012 Packs, now costs £119.99 - saving you £30.

All of these offers can be found on the Hornby website.
