See every winner in the 90-year history of Le Mans. ...
Did you know that this year marks the 90th anniversary of Le Mans? The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world's oldest active sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans in France. At a time when Grand Prix racing was the dominant form of motorsport throughout Europe, Le Mans was designed to present a different test. Instead of focusing on the ability of a car company to build the fastest machines, the 24 Hours of Le Mans would instead concentrate on the ability of manufacturers to build sporty yet reliable cars.

So, to commemorate the huge range of amazing cars that have raced in this legendary event, in the June issue of Diecast Collector we're kicking off a two-part history of Le Mans looking at models based on the previous winners. There's also a great competition to win Le Mans replicas from IXO. Also in this issue:

  • TV and film special - eight pages of cult classics from Lara Croft to Richie Rich
  • Model car catalogues - the 1950s and '60s artwork that inspired a generation of boys to collect
  • Latest new models - 40 pieces from Corgi, Exclusive First Editons, Sunstar and more all reviewed
  • Leyland Royal Tiger - considering the history of the iconic bus and the new model by Oxford Diecast

The June issue of Diecast Collector is available to buy now in-store or order your copy online. Plus, make sure you look for the digital version of the App Store and Google Play Store.
