First look - Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari 599XX Evo 1/18

Cast your mind back to the April 2013 edition of Diecast Collector. We brought you the Nuremberg Toy Fair report and featured on our front cover for that issue was the 1/18 Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari 599XX Evo that had been on display at the show. Well it's about to hit the shelves and we've just received our review copy. It's stunning! RRP £139.99.

The Ferrari 599XX Evo was unveiled at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show, can only be used on the track and costs more more than 1 million Euros to buy!

The real 599XX Evo features an improved chassis and an upgraded aerodynamics kit that includes an active rear wing, adapted from Formula 1, with dual flaps that automatically rotate to adjust downforce when cornering. The updated 599XX, powered by a 6.3L V12 engine, can lap the Fiorano test track in 1 minute and 15 seconds.

Usual excellent Hot Wheels Elite finish and build quality, with removable bonnet and boot plus opening doors. Another winner!
