The current Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, formed by the amalgamation of four former Fusilier Brigade Regiments in 1968, has inherited a history and set of traditions that stretch back over 330 years.

The current Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, formed by the amalgamation of four former Fusilier Brigade Regiments in 1968, has inherited a history and set of traditions that stretch back over 330 years, with the formation of the 5th and 6th Regiments of the Line in 1685. To mark the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, the Regimental Association, Corgi has announced a special celebration set in conjunction with the Go-Ahead Bus Group of the commemorative livery that is carried by two of Go-Ahead’s Wrightbus vehicles; one based in Newcastle and one in London.

Arriving in 2019 in a premium presentation box and priced at £49.99, No OM46620 comprises one  Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, Go North East, NL63 XCB, Route 309 Newcastle, and one Wrightbus New Routemaster, Go-Ahead London, LTZ 1394, Route 15 Tower Hill.

NL63 XCB, a Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, received the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers 50th Anniversary promotional livery during April 2018. LTZ 1394, a Wrightbus New Routemaster was unveiled in its new Royal Regiment of Fusiliers 50th Anniversary promotional livery at an event that took place at the Tower of London in June 2018.
