New tooling project for Corgi in 2021, is the Bristol Beaufort in 1/72 scale

Another major new tooling project for Corgi in 2021, is the Bristol Beaufort in 1/72 scale – a model that has been requested by aviation collectors for some time. The Beaufort is a particularly interesting looking twin-engined torpedo/standard bomber/reconnaissance aircraft from World War II, and one that heralded from the same design stable as the Blenheim and Beaufighter - two aircraft already in the company’s Aviation Archive range at 1/72 scale. Covered in great detail in the most recent edition of Diecast Diaries, by Michael Clegg, development imagery has now been published online at www.corgi.co.uk, including 3D CAD images and actual shots of the first engineering sample.

No AA28901Bristol Beaufort Mk1 is scheduled to go on sale this Autumn. For those that would like to pre-order what is sure to be a very popular model indeed, to avoid disappointment, contact your preferred retailer, or visit Corgi’s website.
