Another successful sale took place at The Canterbury Auction Gallery recently, with items ranging from Dinky racing cars to farm figures.

Another successful sale took place at The Canterbury Auction Gallery recently, with items ranging from Dinky racing cars to farm figures.

A No.26 Bugatti rail car in red and cream with green plastic wheels, a Dinky No.16 Silver Jubilee train set and a French Dinky No.16 Auto Matrice Rapide sold as one lot and made a hammer price of £270.

If vehicles with engines weren’t your thing, then down on the farm a pre-War Taylor & Barrett farm wagon with load, horses and vegetable baskets went for £310 including premium.

Lot 676, a Dinky Thompson aircraft tender "Shell Aviation Service" No. 60y, sold for a somewhat impressive price of £250.
