Wilton Bradley release new diecast models in partnership with Welly Diecast

Wilton Bradley, the well-established toy importer based in Devon, has been working for six years with Far East diecast manufacturer Welly Diecast International to distribute its product range in the UK. The partnership is now exclusive, which should enable UK retailers to offer a larger product range to collectors.

The limited range of cars, vans and motor-cycles, including VW Microbuses, London Buses Classic Black Taxi Cabs available in the UK earlier this year, is increasing, with 1/18 and 1/24 scale cars, pull-back cars and 1/18 scale motor-cycles.

Highlights in the 1/18 scale range are a Porsche 911 (997) GT3RS, 1962 VW Microbus and, keeping things right up-to-date, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560.

The highlights in the 1/24 scale range will be the iconic and classic Mini Cooper, available in red and white, Austin FX4 London Taxi, Lamborghini Murcielago and Audi R8.

The 1/18 scale motor-cycles will feature a Honda CBR900R Fireblade, Honda Goldwing and a Kawasaki 2001 Ninja ZX-12R, plus other makes such as Yamaha, Aprilia and BMW.

These new ranges should arrive in late Autumn and there are plans to broaden the range further in 2011 to offer UK diecast collectors something different from the Welly range.
