Leading the charge in the 12th February sale of Aston’s of Dudley were some Timpo lead knight figures. One lady bought a complete and boxed Knights of the Round Table 9-figure set that had belonged to a Timpo rep. Meccano seems to be very much in demand at the moment and this sale included a 1970s No 10 set that had seen little use and was in its original wooden box. It sold for £800.

Among the diecasts on offer was a fine Corgi Chipperfield Circus Gift Set No 23. In very good condition and in its original box, it went for £280.
