Tiger Hobbies has announced two new releases from the Turkish company, PM Models.
The kits, which are available to buy now, are the 1/72 scale Hawker Sea Fury T-61 and the 1/72 scale Horten Ho-229.
Costing £2.75 each, these budget plastic kits are an excellent way to get into the modelling hobby.
Decals are included with the kits and the correct shade of paint is specified.
The Hawker Sea Fury T-61 two-seat trainer was developed as an export aircraft for service with the Iraqi and Pakistani Air Forces. Pakistan received a total of five aircraft between 1953 and 1954, assigning them to No 2 Fighter Conversion School.
Iraq received three of the planes, which were based in Habbaniya and operated by No 1 (IAF) Squadron for conversion training.
The Horten 229 was an experimental German flying wing jet fighter that was being developed at the end of WWII. The aircraft was to have been armed with four 30mm cannons. It was expected to have a top speed in excess of 600mph.
However, the prototype was captured by the US Army and sent to the United States.
