The final Chris Dyer Fairs show of the year will take place at Carmarthen, west Wales, on 28th December.

The venue will be the popular Ivy Bush Royal Hotel in Spilman Street, and the show will run from 10.30am to 3pm.

Organiser Chris Dyer explained: “The Christmas event is always busy and popular and this one will be no exception. The 45 tables have been fully-booked for some time and the show is also usually well-supported by the general public. By that day, most people will have more than enough tinsel, telly and turkey and will be looking to get out to spend any money that they have left over from the festivities.”

Sadly, this will also be the very last Carmarthen show at this venue as from April 2012 the new venue will be the splendid and modern Carmarthen Leisure Centre in nearby Johnstown and just off the A40 truck road.

Chris said: “We have just out-grown the present venue and the move will give us greater scope to have more tables, more space and all within one large hall. Parking, loading and general facilities are excellent at Carmarthen Leisure Centre and the facility is less than two years old. We shall be able to accommodate more traders and yet everyone will have more space and that incudes customers visiting the show. However, we are very sad to be leaving the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel as it has been a wonderful venue for us for the past five years”.
