Now in its third year, The Aviation Society is delighted to announce that this year’s Aviation and Transport Fair will be taking place at Manchester Airport's Runway Visitor Park, over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 9th-10th July.

What’s happening inside the hangar? The Concorde Hangar will become a large market and exhibition space for the whole weekend with aviation and transport enthusiasts, societies and traders selling books, models, T-shirts, radios, binoculars, postcards, cameras and all sorts of aviation memorabilia from safety cards to sick bags! Demonstrations of SBS equipment and model railways will also be taking place. For visitors to the event there are some fantastic bargains to be had and treasures to be found. All of this will be happening literally ‘under the wings’ of the world’s most famous aircraft - Concorde - which will be open for public viewing throughout the weekend at special discounted prices.

What’s happening outside the Concorde Hangar? All of the RVP exhibits will be open for viewing and there will be lots of other activities taking place associated with transport, vintage and classic cars, buses and trucks, military vehicles and fire engines, aircraft cockpits from all over the UK and a selection of preserved aircraft will be on display, in addition transport clubs and societies will be promoting their activities. There is a licensed restaurant and this year there will also be a brand new children’s playground available- quite simply this is a great day out for all the family.
