London-based company Pimlico Plumbers has been inundated with enquiries and orders from toy collectors all over the world regarding its promotional Volkswagen T5 model van.

Costing £10 each, the three limited edition vans feature a selection of the company’s personalised, and very fitting, number plates: BOG1, DRA 1N and W4TER.

The vans are limited to 1,000 pieces and come with an ownership certificate and edition number.

Charlie Mullins, Managing Director of Pimlico Plumbers, said: “The reaction to the model vans has been unbelievable. Since we put them on our website I’ve discovered how big the hobby for collecting model vehicles is all around the world.

“We’ve had calls and emails from as far away as the United States from enthusiasts who wanted to add a Pimlico van to their collections. It’s amazing!”

10% from the sale of each model will be donated to the Rhys Daniels Trust which provides ‘home from home’ accommodation close to hospitals for parents of seriously ill children.
